Politics and Pints with PAC & TWC

We are excited to collaborate with Local 38’s TWC Committee for one final event this school year. Join us for a screening of the film: When We Fight. From strike vote to contract vote, When We Fight goes behind the picket lines, documenting how and why teachers strike. Watch as one of the largest educator strikes in modern U.S. history unfolds in real-time, highlighting the stories and leadership of some of the women who led it, from union leaders to classroom teachers. We will follow up the screening with discussion, beverages, and snacks. Details below:

Registration is limited to 40 participants. Registration will open Sunday May 12 at 7:00 pm on Eventbrite and is first come, first served. Once the tickets sell out, Eventbrite will provide a waitlist option.A fee of $11.98 is required to register ($10 refundable deposit + $1.98 non-refundable Eventbrite fee). Refunds of registration deposit will be issued to participants after verification of attendance. A limit of two tickets per registration.
